A monolithic entity in its own right; for editorial press to have maintained its integrity and vision’s of inclusion and diversity is an impossible feat, but Aesthetica Magazine has made this dream a reality. Curating distinct art from around the globe, Aesthetica prides itself in its bustling community and deep understanding of the art world. With all this said, I believed Aesthetica needed a website update to maintain its forefront positioning in the future market. Cautiously, I started by designing a refreshed version of the current Short Film festival website, that clearly matches the style of the main Aesthetica website, but isn’t suitable for film goers. I then revised the main magazine website to flow more smoothly, taking inspiration from media giants like Condé Nast, Bon Appetite, and The New Yorker.
