Since their inception, International Education Partnership (IEP), have proven themselves a juggernaut in the field of Bilingual Education in Spain. Expanding whilst maintaining integrity, is a feat near of a miracle for a team so small. With over 7 schools, IEP have an strong presence in Spain.
Before I joined in 2019, they forged together branding developed with functionality and simplicity in mind. Inheriting the apple and dove logo from their sister company based in Sweden, Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES). This level of simplicity made into all communication and print. Whilst this simplicity sufficed when finding their feet; truth be told, it was unscalable and unrelatable. This is when they realised they needed professional and experienced help in the private schools sector in Spain. Working with InnEdu, we devised a logo that put the companies acronym at the forefront. Again, trying to work Spanish words into the brand, making it instantly relatable in Spain. IEP Schools was translated into Spanish, ‘Colegios IEP’. From here 4 distinct primary colours were chosen, keeping the association of education and school in the mind of the consumer.
Over the next 3 years, I designed and developed 9 websites using WordPress and page builders. I perfected my skills with the Adobe Creative Suite of products, enabling me to design prospectuses and other branding elements for each school. I designed bold and attractive offline advertising creatives for both Billboards and Print; helping drive admissions towards the schools. I helped manage each school's marketing budget, suggesting where to allocate capital depending on target audiences. Developing a digital strategy, allowed me to have clarity when running Pay Per Click (PPC) Google advertising and Facebook awareness advertising. I also designed the “Colegios IEP” brand.
