A man who you could say had crammed nine lives worth of living into a single book. Michael came to me with an idea, ‘make me a website’. This is music to my ears when a client enables me creative control over a project; allowing to stretch my legs out as far as I can. I began by inventorying his archive of historic and relevant photography that was taken all the years he grew up in Gaza, and banking over Africa.
Drawing my attention to some website design inspiration that Michael had forwarded on to me as a starting point, grounded my process, allowing me to begin wire-framing the first iteration in Figma. This was green lit; then I began developing this website using my preferred website building tool, Webflow.
